La Salette

December 4, 2008
Saturday night we went to La Salette to see all the Christmas lights. I couldn't decide if we should go or not. I didn't know if the babies would like it or if it would be to cold out for them. We picked up some huge mittens at Bennny's and decided to give it a try. At first Emma was upset because she couldn't touch everything because of the mittens. Then we went on this merry-go-round and after that she seemed to start enjoying herself even though she had the mittens on.

Landon was bit cranky at first and wanted to be carried, but then everyone started marching with him and he started to have so much fun.

Grammy and Gramps joined usand our friend Lisa joined us.
They had so much fun walking around looking at lights.
Emma loved looking in this room with moving people showing how to make wool.
At the end there was a row of trees decorated with lights and they had to stop and look at every light.
I'm so glad we ended up going. They had so much fun looking at all the lights. It's so amazing to watch them as they discover new things. I think we might try Edaville Railroad when we go back for Christmas. Does anyone know of any light displays in New York?

That place looks amazing!!! It's beautiful. I wish we had somewhere like that here in NY.

looks like you had fun. Reminds me of Christmas in the Park when we used to live in San Jose. We just drive the kids around our area at night looking for lights. People around here seem to go all out and the fire house has a pretty good display. The best part is you don't even have to get out of the car.
